About Aaron

I am a Registered Psychological Associate with a doctorate in clinical psychology. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and their families, providing comprehensive psychological evaluations to understand how their minds work and what supports will help them thrive. My evaluation process is informative, therapeutic, and empowering, helping both children and their families gain insight into their strengths and challenges and identify meaningful supports at home, at school, and in everyday life.

More About Me

My work is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming framework. My areas of expertise include assessing attention, autism, specific learning disorders, and related emotional experiences, helping to clarify a child's unique developmental profile. I also have a particular interest in working with gender-diverse youth, including transgender, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming individuals, an area that was the focus of my doctoral dissertation.

Therapeutic approach

Aaron’s therapeutic and assessment approach is deeply rooted in a neurodiversity-affirming framework. He views psychological evaluations not just as a diagnostic tool, but as an informative and empowering process that helps children and their families gain vital insight into their unique strengths and challenges. By understanding the inner workings of a client's mind, he helps identify the most meaningful supports for their home, school, and everyday environments.

His work is characterized by a commitment to clarity and empowerment, ensuring that the evaluation process itself is a supportive experience. Whether assessing for learning differences or exploring gender identity, Aaron focuses on the whole individual, providing a roadmap for growth that respects and celebrates cognitive and developmental diversity.
