About Ani

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with adolescents and adults. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and relationship and interpersonal distress. I assist clients with communication and coping skills, as well as building awareness, self-trust, and self-esteem to create sustainable change. My goal as a therapist is to create a strong therapeutic and collaborative relationship with my clients for them to feel safe with addressing and confronting their distress.

I earned my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. In my practicum training I assisted clients struggling with PTSD, unresolved grief, anxiety, depression, and life adjustments. I incorporate an Integrative approach in sessions and utilize modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Client Centered, and Strength-Based approaches.

My approach is exploratory and collaborative. Providing support in a warm and nonjudgmental environment is of utmost importance to the therapeutic relationship.
