About Jason

I am a clinical psychologist specializing in pediatric neuropsychological assessment and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and their families. I have extensive experience assessing and treating youth with ADHD, learning disorders, anxiety, depression, traumatic stress, epilepsy, cancer, and other neurodevelopmental and medical complexities. My expertise is in ADHD across the lifespan, and I have published research on the cognitive and socioemotional challenges associated with the disorder.

I received my Bachelor's and doctoral Degrees in Psychology from New York University and Penn State University and completed my doctoral internship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Throughout my career, I have worked with a clinically, socioeconomically, and culturally diverse range of youth in residential treatment, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, hospital-based, and community mental health settings.

I utilize an individualized and collaborative approach in my clinical work, seeking to help families implement principles of evidence-based interventions in a way that is compatible with their personal beliefs and lifestyle.

I have expertise in treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and parent management training (PMT), and I am certified in parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) by PCIT International. My overarching goal is to support youth and families in developing a repertoire of practical skills and strategies that can help maximize strengths and mitigate day-to-day challenges.
